
Olympic champion Michael Phelps defended his men’s 100 metres butterfly title at the world swimming championships on Saturday. That was his third gold medal in Shanghai.
Michael Phelps clocked 50.71 seconds to claim gold .Poland’s Konrad Czerniak took sliver in 51.15 while Tyler McGill of the United States earned bronze in 51.26.
